How can I add students' actual end of Y10 UMS to a WJEC GCSE tracker?

  • WJEC's GCSE qualifications in the Sciences and English Literature differ from most other exam boards, in that students are able to attain UMS points that contribute to their final overall grade at the end of Year 10.

  • To be able to enter these UMS to Pupil Progress, you'll first need to add the relevant column to your trackers.

  • School Admins and Subject Leaders are able to do this by editing the details for your class or year group, and ticking the box for Actual Exam UMS under the unit/s that you want to add this for. (Pictured in the GIF below)

What Next?

  • When you return to your tracker, you'll notice a new column inside the unit for the students' Actual Exam UMS - simply enter their points into the new column! (Pictured in the GIF below)

To stop all other assessments from counting towards this unit grade, simply untick them from the Quick Edit menu.
