Grade boundaries on new qualifications

For courses with a newly released specification, there are often no official grade boundaries available from the exam board until after the first exams have been sat.

To cater to this, we upload a scaled set of grade boundaries based on the most recent version from the previous specification. Then, once the official grade boundaries are released, we'll ensure they are available for you to set on your tracker.

Whilst we cannot guarantee these boundary predictions to be exact, we've found our estimations on previous courses to be typically calculated within 1-2% of the final official boundaries released by the exam boards.

Adjust tracker grade boundaries

You're able to adjust the tracker grade boundaries by following the steps below:

1. Open the Tools menu on the left side of the tracker.

2. Select Change underneath Grade Boundaries.

3. Use - and + to shift these in 1% increments each way, ranging from -10% to 10%.

4. Click Save & Close to apply the adjustment to the tracker.

Note: Any changes made to the tracker's grade boundaries will be applied to all classes within that tracker.
