Setup

How can I change the units on my tracker?

For qualifications with optional units, you can change which units are displayed on the tracker from Edit Tracker Options.

To do this, from the Tracking homepage, click the three dots to the right of Live Tracking (to change units for a class) or to the right of the tracker title (to change units for the year group) and select Edit Tracker Options. You can then tick or untick units from the list and then select Save Changes to update your tracker.

We recommend checking this at the start of a new academic year, as unit preferences may have changed.

I want to track KS3 this year. How can I set this up?

We're pleased to hear you're interested in tracking KS3! The first step is to set up a meeting with your Account Manager so that we can understand your specific tracking needs, before adding KS3 to your Pupil Progress subscription.

If you're not sure who your Account Manager is, not to worry β€” send us a message using the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of the platform πŸ’¬

Past Papers

I can't find the past paper I'm looking for

We aim to have the most recent exam papers available across all trackers. However, at the start of a new academic year, papers may not be available for some qualifications yet.

If there's a particular paper you're looking to use, first check if it's available following the steps in this article.

If it's not available, please complete this form and an upload request will be raised directly with the team.

I've requested a past paper, but it isn't available yet

September/October is our busiest time of year for past paper requests, as our team works to upload recent exam papers across all qualifications.

If you're needing a past paper urgently, please do get in touch and let us know the deadline you're working to, so that we can plan effectively.

In the meantime, you may wish to add a Customised Assessment if you're looking to track students' grades immediately.

Thank you for your patience during this time πŸ’™

Migration Troubleshooting

My classes are unsynchronised

When logging in at the start of September, you may notice that your classes are unsynchronised. This is due to us temporarily pausing the connection between Pupil Progress and your MIS until the migration process is complete.

Until resynchronised, any classlist changes in your MIS will not be reflected in Pupil Progress.

My classes are missing from the Tracking homepage

Again, when you're logging in at the start of September, you may notice classes that are missing from the Tracking homepage. All Year 11 and Year 13 classes should be visible as continued year groups. However, if you're missing KS3, Year 10, or Year 12 classes, this is likely because your school's migration is not complete and the new classes have not been set up by us yet.

If your migration is complete but you're still missing classes, you can simply add them by following the steps in the article below πŸ‘‡

My classes are not showing / available to add within Add New Class

If you go to Add New Class and the class you're looking for isn't there, first check:

  1. The class is set up on your MIS timetable.

  2. The class is associated with the relevant subject code and subject name on your MIS.

If you're still having trouble adding a synced class, get in touch using the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of the platform πŸ’¬

New staff members are not syncing / appearing in the staff list

First, ensure any new staff members are correctly set up on your MIS. Their contact must have an email address and be marked as a Teacher in order to sync correctly with Pupil Progress, as we do not sync support staff. Find out more in our Best Practice Guide for Managing Staff.

If you're still struggling to set up new staff, send us a message using the chat bubble in the bottom-right corner of the platform πŸ’¬
