When you have Customised Assessments and multiple Published Assessments in a unit, you are likely to want only the most relevant to count towards the Current and Average Unit Grade. This way you know you are using only the most relevant data.

You can see exactly which tests in a unit are counting towards the unit grade simply by clicking on a student's Current Unit Grade. The tests that weight towards this grade will then be highlighted for you, showing you at first glance which marks are currently counting towards students' Current Grade and Average Unit Grade.

How do I turn off a test from counting towards students' current grade?

If you need to have any of the tests that are being highlighted not count towards students' current grade, all you have to do is locate that test (either under Published or Customised Assessments) and Edit it.

Editing CA

Then simply untick the Count towards Current & Projected Grade and finally scroll to the bottom of the page to Save Changes.

Discounting from grades

When you next access your tracker, the test you just edited will no longer be counted when calculating your students' Current Grade and Average Unit Grade.
