WJEC's GCSE qualifications in Science and English Literature differ from most other exam boards, in that students are able to attain UMS points that contribute to their final overall grade at the end of Year 10.

This article explains how you can simply enter Actual UMS into a WJEC GCSE tracker.

Add students' Actual end of Year 10 UMS to a WJEC GCSE tracker

To be able to enter Actual UMS to a WJEC GCSE tracker, you'll first need to add the relevant column:

  1. From the Tracking homepage, click the three dots next to the relevant qualification title, or next to a class' Live Tracking, and select Edit Tracker Options.

  2. Tick the box for Actual Exam UMS under the unit(s) that you want to add this for.

  3. Select Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

  4. When you return to the tracker, you'll notice a new column within the relevant unit(s) for Actual Exam UMS. Simply enter students' points into this new column and their grades will update.

To stop all other assessments from counting towards this unit grade, simply untick them within the Assessment List.
