Sort students by their marks or grades

You're able to easily change the order that your students are displayed with Sorting. To sort students, simply click the title of a column on any tracker.

  • Clicking once will sort the students from low to high.

  • Clicking again will instead sort the students from high to low.

  • Finally, a third click will return your tracker order to alphabetically by student surname.

πŸ’‘ You can also sort your data in the Year Group Overview, for a cohort of students at once. This works in the exact same way as on a tracker level, by clicking the column that you wish to sort by.

How does sorting look in a tracker?

Within the column title, a grey box with an arrow pointing either up or down indicates how students are sorted.

Something to note:

  • Any data entered in a tracker whilst sorted will cause it to update in real time, meaning that the order will change accordingly.

  • For this reason, we would recommend sorting your data only after all data has been entered.

πŸ“– Team Tip

Using Sorting on the Topic Summary area can be an excellent way to identify students for intervention within specific areas.
