If you haven't yet assessed content from all of your course's components, the Current Grade section of the Summary area will likely show all students as attaining lower grades than they are in reality. For this reason, it can be good to hide the Current Grade and use only the Average Unit Grade, so that your tracker is always showing a true depiction of your students' working-at level.
How to hide the Current Grade
First, open your tracker, then select the View menu from the left hand side.
On this menu, under the Summary section, you'll see tick boxes referring to the visibility of each grade type.
Simply untick the box next to Current Grade to hide it from your tracker.
You're also able to hide the Average Unit or Teacher Predicted Grades, as well as the overall unit marks, by unticking the corresponding boxes in the same menu.
π Pupil Progress Tip
Hiding the Current Grade will only apply to the class that you are in, but will save for for any future times you open the same class. If you'd like to hide this from multiple classes, you would need to untick this box on each.
Additionally, the View settings are specific to your account, so you can freely hide grades that are not relevant to you without impacting your colleagues' use of the tracker.
