How do I change the course for a class?

To change a class to a tracker for a completely different course, qualification or exam board, you will need to create a new class and delete your old one.

If Pupil Progress is synced with your MIS:

  1. Click the blue Add New Class button

  2. From the 'Using Autosync' tab, select the Synchronise with MIS option

  3. Choose the tracker and fill in all details

  4. Select your class/es from the tickboxes at the bottom of the page

  5. Click Add New Class

If Pupil Progress is not synced with your MIS:

  1. Click the blue Add New Class button

  2. From the 'Manually' tab, select the Using existing students option

  3. Choose the tracker and fill in all details

  4. Choose the Copy students from another class option

  5. Click Add New Class

You can then delete any of the old classes (if they have no data you need) by clicking the 3-dot button next to the green Live Tracking button and selecting Delete.

Changing Optional Units:

If you have a course with optional units or pathway choices;

  1. Click the 3-dot button next to the Live tracking button

  2. Click Edit Class and it will allow you to change the units showing on the tracker.

  3. Once you've changed your selections, click the confirm button at the bottom and your tracker will show the new units.

If you have a course with optional units or pathway choices that aren't displayed within Edit Class, it is likely that your class needs to be switched over to a different specification
