Watch this video for a step-by-step guide to using Bulk Edit π
Use Bulk Edit to copy and paste data
The Bulk Edit tool allows you to transfer data from an existing source into a tracker using copy and paste, as opposed to manually inputting one mark at a time. To use Bulk Edit:
Within Live Tracking for a class or Year Group Overview, open Tools in the left menu and select Bulk Edit.
Open your external data source (e.g. an Excel spreadsheet) and copy the data using Ctrl+C (Windows) or Command+C (Mac).
Return to the tracker, click the cell in the top left corner of where you're looking to paste, then press Ctrl+V (Windows) or Command+V (Mac) to paste.
Click Save Changes in the top bar to save your pasted data and exit Bulk Edit mode.
β
π‘ Some things to note:
To ensure that data transfers correctly, double-check that both the assessment columns and order of students align between the source and the tracker.
The Bulk Edit tool also allows you to copy and paste data between two trackers. Simply ensure you are in Bulk Edit mode on both trackers.
