Cautionary Notes
Do not confuse Data Entry mode with Tracker Analysis mode; some features only appear in Tracker Analysis.
Always confirm the students shown after clicking a bar are the ones you expected.
Topic Summary data may be incomplete early in the year or before enough assessments have been entered.
Remember that percentages shown are based on the selected students, not necessarily the whole year group.
Avoid making assumptions from one topic alone; check subtopics before planning intervention.
Tips for Efficiency
Start with class-level trends, then drill down only where the data shows a clear need.
Use clickable bars to save time when identifying students in a performance band.
Filter by student name when preparing to share data or discuss individual progress.
Sort topic data ascending to quickly find the weakest areas.
Use the same analysis to support multiple actions: student conversations, intervention groups, reteaching, and possible class movement.
