To note, like other aspects of Pupil Progress App, firstly you need to be set as a School Admin in Pupil Progress. User Permission Levels can be easily amended by a School Admin.

How do I publish student reports on the App?

  1. Log into Pupil Progress and go to Reports and select App Reports

  2. Click the blue Publish New Report button in the top left

  3. Select the relevant tab to publish a Summary Report, All Subjects Report or Subject Report

  4. Select the Snapshot you want the reports to be based on, and the year group you want to publish reports for

  5. For Subject Reports only, also select the Subject Area, Qualification, and Specification

  6. Choose to either Publish Now to publish the report immediately, or Schedule to pick a future date when the report will be published

  7. Click the blue Publish Report to Parent App button

Something to note:

  • The app is set up to show parent progress over time. The navigation will give them the option to open up reports that were previously published and also show them the dates they were published.

  • Our advice would be to keep the reports as published to continue giving them access.

To delete a report:

  1. Log into Pupil Progress and go to Reports and select App Reports

  2. Click the delete button on the right of the relevant Published report

  • The report will no longer appear on the App for students or parents, however they may have downloaded the report as a PDF from the app and so they of course may still have record of it.

Something to note:

  • Publishing reports to parents using Pupil Progress App is similar to producing reports through the core Pupil Progress web app in Reports > Downloadable Reports.

  • The difference is that when using Pupil Progress App, reports are sent directly to parents' smartphones.

  • Student reports in Pupil Progress App are always based on a particular Snapshot. You can either use an existing Snapshot or take a new one.

If you take a new Snapshot, you will need to wait until it has finished processing before publishing reports
