Note: You'll need to be a School Admin in order to access these Pupil Progress App features.
Publishing reports to Pupil Progress App is a similar process to downloading reports through the Pupil Progress web platform. The difference when using Pupil Progress App is that reports are sent directly to parents' smartphones.
Student reports in Pupil Progress App are always based on a particular Snapshot. You can either use an existing Snapshot or take a new one.
Publish App reports in Pupil Progress
From the Tracking homepage, go to Reports in the top bar menu and select App Reports.
Click PUBLISH NEW REPORT in the top left corner of the page.
Select the relevant tab to publish a All Subjects Report or Subject Report.
Select the Snapshot you want the reports to be based on, and the Year Group you want to publish reports for.
For Subject Reports only, select the Subject Area, Qualification, and Specification.
You can tick Summary only to publish a one-page top-level report including overall grades for each subject.
For All Subjects Reports, you can exclude specific courses from reports. To do this:
Click Selected Tracker Groups
Untick the courses you want to exclude
Click SAVE SELECTED at the bottom of the pop-up menu.
You can also exclude specific students for all report types, such as those with dual attendance or alternative provisions, using Search by student's name.
Choose to either Publish now to publish the report immediately, or Publish in the future to pick a future date when the report will be published.
Select the template for the reports using the dropdown below Report Template.
Select PUBLISH REPORT TO APP to send the reports to the App.
Publishing new reports
The app is designed for parents to see progress over time. This means they can easily navigate to open up reports that were previously published, with the dates they were published also shown.
Therefore, when publishing a new set of reports, we advise keeping previous reports as published so that they are still accessible to parents.
Delete a report
If you do need to remove a report, simply go to Reports > App Reports and select DELETE to the far right of the relevant report.
The report will no longer appear on the App for the year group. However, students and parents may have downloaded the report as a PDF from the app, so they may still have record of it.
π Team Tip
If you take a new Snapshot, you'll need to wait until it has finished processing before publishing reports.
