Now accessible to users with School Admin permissions, the Lock MTG feature allows you to lock Minimum Target Grades (MTGs) in place. This means they are uneditable and no changes can be made across all trackers for the year groups you have selected.

How can I lock MTGs on my trackers?

Follow the steps below to lock your students' MTGs:

  1. Hover over My School on the top menu, then select School Details

  2. Click the blue Lock MTG button, opening up a menu with tick box options

  3. Here, tick the boxes next to the year groups you'd like with locked MTGs

  4. Press Select

  5. Finally, click Save to confirm the changes. A green message will then appear in the bottom left corner confirming 'School details has been saved'.

  6. Return to any tracker for your selected year group/s and click any box within the MTG column, under the Summary area. If the dropdown does not pop up, your MTGs are locked πŸ”‘

Something to note:

  • You can unlock MTGs at any time by following the same steps detailed above; just deselect (untick) the year groups you wish to make MTG changes to.

Don't have MTGs uploaded to Pupil Progress?

  • You can input MTGs manually by student from within your trackers, just scroll across to the MTG column within the Summary area and select a value from the dropdown.

  • Make inputting data easier by using the Bulk Edit tool to copy and paste MTGs into your tracker.

  • Alternatively, send us your MTGs and we'll bulk upload them for you. Get in touch with our Support team for assistance with this.

Once MTGs have been inputted for students, their grades will become colour-coded in the trackers. Read this article to find out what the colours mean.
