Have you logged in to Pupil Progress and noticed your classes aren't looking how you expected? Not to worry. Throughout September, our team are working on mass migrating all schools ready for the 2024-25 academic year.

This means that some trackers or classes may not yet be showing on your school account, and your classlist sync status will be set as not syncing.

We understand how important it is to enter the academic year prepared; which is why our team are working at full capacity over September, to synchronise your classes and add any new classes for you.

Please note, the timeline of the migration process has been developed with consideration, as it allows time for us to be able to resynchronise the platform to the school's 2024-25 MIS timetable with ease.

Migration FAQs

Take a look at some common questions on the migration process below, and find out all there is to know about your school setup this academic year πŸ‘‡

What does it mean when classes are synced / not in sync?

Until your school's migration is complete, all classes will show as not syncing class lists. This is due to us temporarily pausing the connection between Pupil Progress and your MIS, until we are ready to action resynchronisation.

This means that any changes to your classlists for the 2024-25 academic year that have updated on your MIS, will not be reflected in Pupil Progress until your classes are resynced βœ”οΈ

Why have my classes disappeared?

As standard continuing year groups, any Year 10 and Year 12 classes on your account will have been migrated into Year 11 and 13, and should be showing on the Tracking homepage. For all other year groups, we will be adding these classes during the mass migration process taking place throughout September.

For now, you are able to view all trackers from the previous year by navigating to the Tracking page, and selecting 2023-24 from the Academic Year dropdown. Please note, we have not deleted any data from the 2023-24 academic year.

Do I need to action anything?

Back in July, we sent out a Migration Survey to data managers, requesting any specifics relevant to your academic year migration. Although this survey is now closed, if there are any preferences which you have not yet communicated, please do get in touch with our Support team as soon as possible and we'll do what we can to action them.

Please be assured that even if we have received no communications from your school, we will still proceed with migrating your classes as standard.

When will migration be complete for my school?

Unfortunately we are not able to confirm an exact date for the completion of your school's setup, as migration is an incremental process for all schools. However, your data manager or primary contact will receive an email notifying them as soon as your school's migration is complete and you are good to go.

🌟 Thank you for your patience
