Once a member of staff is added to my MIS, how can I invite them to Pupil Progress?

  • If a new member of staff has recently joined your school, and they have been added to your MIS (such as SIMS, Bromcom, or Arbor), it's a simple process to get them set up on Pupil Progress.

  • Groupcall syncs regularly, meaning that they should appear in the list of staff under the My School area soon after they are added to your MIS.

  • Once they appear, their status will be set to either Invited or Not invited yet, meaning that you just need to click the three dots to the right hand side of their name and select the Send Invitation Email option from the box that pops up. (Pictured below)

What happens next?

Once you have done this, the staff member will receive an email within a couple of minutes inviting them to sign up to Pupil Progress; they just need to click the link, create a password, and then they're in! (Pictured below)

Something to note:

Please note, it can take up to a day for the staff list sync to align with the changes made on your MIS. However, if you're unable to wait a day, there are two options:

1. Open up your Groupcall account and on the home page select Refresh my Xporter Data now. It may take up to 30 minutes for the change to show on Pupil Progress, but you can contact our support team to speed this up.

2. You are still able to manually create an account for them, with this being merged into their profile on your MIS once the sync has occurred - refer to the article below for how to do this:
