How do I assign Subject Leaders on Pupil Progress?

Whilst staff details are pulled through when Pupil Progress syncs up with your school's MIS (SIMS/Bromcom/Arbor etc), Groupcall is unable to distinguish between teachers and subject leaders - this means that they will need to be assigned manually.

There are a couple of ways that you could do this:

1. By subject

(Accessible to Leaders of and School Admin Users)

To assign subject leader status by subject;

  1. Select the Subject Areas option that appears after hovering over My School. This page will show a full list of the subjects your school as access to, and which users are currently assigned as teachers or leaders.

  2. To add a user as a leader, begin typing their name in the box under Leaders, find them from the list that comes up, and then click Add Leader to confirm. (Pictured in the GIF below)

2. By staff member

(Accessible to School Admin Users only)

Alternatively, it may be more effective to assign individual staff members as a subject lead of multiple subject areas at the same time. To do this

  1. Select Staff under My School, and then find the user that you are looking to change permissions for.

  2. Click Edit at the right hand side of their name to be taken to a page that will allow you to add them as a leader (or teacher) of additional subject areas. (Pictured in the GIF below)
