Follow the steps in this article to download a copy of your data in Pupil Progress, so that you can upload it into your SIMS MIS for further analysis.
How do I import my Pupil Progress data into SIMS?
In Pupil Progress, click Analysis from the top bar and choose which year group you are looking to download the data for.
Select Grade Summary from the options on the pop-up box before clicking Continue.

3. In the Summary, you can view an Average Unit Grade for all of the students in this year group across all subject areas. To change what grade is being pulled, select the Source dropdown along the top bar.
4. Click Configure Columns above the students' names on the left hand side if you'd like to add any additional fields, such as a unique identifier like Admission Number or UPN.
5. Once your grade source and columns are configured, toggle Tools at the top and then select Download as XLS. This will download all of the Grade Summary's raw data as an Excel file, ready for you to copy and paste elsewhere as needed.
6. Repeat this process as many times as you need across multiple year groups!
What's next?
Now that you have a download of your assessment data, head to SIMS and head to Routines -> Data In -> Assessment -> Import from Spreadsheet.
Then click Browse, where you can find the file that you have downloaded from Pupil Progress.
An Import from Spreadsheet screen should pop up, where you can map the appropriate fields to each column.
Once you've done this as many times as necessary, click Next, where you'll be able to match the students on your Pupil Progress download with your SIMS MIS based on a unique identifier.
Click Finish to import the data.
