The Pupil Progress Performance Pathways tracker is available to all schools tracking PE at KS3. Developed in line with the Performance Pathways curriculum, the tracker allows you to customise the sports and assessment strands to suit your tracking needs.

How does the Performance Pathways tracker work?

Each sport works to calculate a Progress Level based on the average marks inputted for each assessment, with the Summary area of the tracker providing an overall Average Level. The sports will be graded according to the below criteria:

1 = Foundation

2 = Fundamentals

3 = Development

4 = Performance

5 = Excellence

Hide Sports on the tracker

When you first set up your KS3 classes on the Performance Pathways tracker, each sport may not be relevant to you. You're able to hide any sports on the tracker by following these simple steps:

  1. Head to Edit Assessments within the left menu of Live Tracking

  2. Select Quick Edit in the top right corner of the specification

  3. Untick the classes that you would like the sport to be hidden on, these will be the boxes in the column furthest to the right

  4. Ensure to Save Changes in the top right

  5. When you return to the tracker, the unticked sports will no longer be visible.

Edit the assessment strands of a Sport

Each sport has a set of strands for you to input students' marks out of 5. If you're needing to make changes to these, you can use the Copy Existing Assessment feature to update the assessment strands:

  1. Select Add New Assessment from the left menu, and choose Copy Existing Assessment

  2. The Assessment Name dropdown will display all of the available sports to add your new strands under, select the relevant sport and then click Copy Selected

  3. On the following page, select the sport from the Unit dropdown and name your assessment

  4. You can then remove questions by clicking the three dots on the right, Add Another Question at the bottom of the list, and modify the marks below Max Value

  5. Once you're done, click Save and Collapse and then Create Assessments on the next page

  6. Return to the tracker and expand the sport column to begin entering your data.

You have the option to hide the default assessment strands from the tracker, if they're not relevant to your tracking. To do this, follow the steps in this article πŸ‘‡
