If your school already has KS2 fine levels added to Pupil Progress, then senior leaders, heads of department and data managers are able to use the KS4 Grade Analysis section of the platform to track a number of additional key indicators. Track progress and attainment scores at an individual or broader level.
What do the colours in the KS4 Grade Analysis mean?
The colour coding of this analysis is the same as you may already know from using your trackers:
Blue = Above target
Green = On-track to achieve target
Yellow = One grade below target
Red = Two or more grades below target
Attainment 8 and Progress 8
Setting the analysis to show Attainment 8 (A8) data means that each of the coloured squares will state a student's specific A8 score, which will usually be the same as their unit grade, perhaps with the exception of some combined science or vocational qualifications.
Toggling to Progress 8 (P8) will show a the students' P8 scores, which is directly linked to the KS2 grades that have been entered. To learn more about these metrics, check the UK Government website and read the articles below:

What do the different types of cells mean?
In the analysis, you may notice 4 different types of filled-in cells:
Cells with an 8+E are being counted both towards a student's A8/P8 score and their English Baccalaureate
Those with an 8 only are counting towards students' A8 and P8 scores
Similarly, those only with an E are counting towards the EBacc, but not A8 or P8
Cells that only contain an A8 or P8 score (depending on which mode the tool is in) are not counting towards any broader performance metrics

Summary Analysis
The Summary section of the grade analysis can provide a quick glance into a number of helpful metrics for leaders.
Here, you are able to check students' attainment scores on an individual level, as well as looking at the broader school data.
The example in the GIF below shows us that this school as an overall A8 score of 30.63 and P8 score of -0.9.
