Note: this article is for Data Managers who are working with our Onboarding team to set up your whole school.

Pupil Progress manages class membership, relevant student details, and staff lists directly from your MIS via Groupcall.

This means that any changes you make in your MIS are automatically reflected in Pupil Progress. For any changes to students, staff or class lists on your MIS, you may need to wait until the following day for these to show, as the changes are synced overnight.

Authorise access for Pupil Progress to sync with your MIS

You will receive an invitation email from Groupcall to their Xporter tool which will walk you through the steps to set up and authorise the autosync.

For more about what Groupcall Xporter is and how authorisation works, take a look at the following video:

Take a look at our Data Processing Agreement and Terms of Service if you need to get any GDPR clearances.

Send us course details and Minimum Target Grades

  • Our Onboarding team will ask you to send through details of the courses and qualifications which your classes are studying for, so that classes synced from Groupcall are matched with the respective Pupil Progress trackers specific to their courses.

  • We'll also ask you to send through Minimum Target Grades, so that these can be matched to individual students in each of their subjects.

Onboarding Support

We'll let you know when your set up is completed. However, if you haven't received a set up invitation, or have any questions about setting up your Groupcall sync and the onboarding process, reach out to our Onboarding team βœ‰οΈ

πŸ“– Team Tip

We'll need to know which Qualifications/Specifications your current cohort is following as part of your set up.
