How to view grades across all subjects

Getting started with the Grades Summary section on the platform.

Just to note, this section is only accessible to School Admins and Leaders of. User Permission Levels can be easily amended by a School Admin.


How can I see the grades across all subjects?

How do I open the Grades Summary?

  1. Navigate to the Analysis area and select the cohort and Year group you wish to look at.

  2. Select the Grades Summary option and click continue. (Pictured in the GIF below)

You will be taken to the Grades Summary area which pulls the grades from the summary of every tracker for the selected year group.


What do the colours within the Grades Summary refer to?

The colours of the grades indicate how the grade is compared to the student's Minimum Target Grade:

  • Blue = Above the Minimum Target Grade

  • Green = Same as the Minimum Target Grade

  • Yellow = 1 grade below the Minimum Target Grade

  • Red = 2 or more grades below the Minimum Target Grade

How do I change the Grade Type?

  • The Grades Summary will open up showing the Average Unit Grades by default.

  • You can change this to the Current Grades, Teacher Predicted Grades or Minimum Target Grades instead by clicking on the Source dropdown in the menu at the top. (Pictured in the GIF below)

How do I download this data?

You can do further analysis or extract the information to use with other software by:

  1. Clicking the Tools toggle

  2. Clicking Download as XLS

  3. Open your file from your downloads folder (Pictured in the GIF below)

How do I filter my students within the Grade Summary?

To filter students by the grade they have achieved in a subject or across multiple subjects, or by subcategory data, simply:

  1. Click Filters

  2. Click Filter by Students or Filter by Grade, depending on what you're looking to do

  3. Add a filter rule (Pictured in the GIF below)
