The Grades Summary is an overview of students grades across all subjects. This Analysis feature can be useful to check for missing data and target grades, as well as exporting for uploading to an MIS.

View students' grades across all subjects

  1. Navigate to the Analysis area from the top menu.

  2. Select the Year Group you wish to view.

  3. Click on the Grades Summary option and then Continue.

You'll then be taken to the Grades Summary area which pulls the live grades from the summary area of every tracker for the selected year group.

Colours within the Grades Summary

The colours of the grades indicate how the grade is compared to the student's Minimum Target Grade:

  • Blue = Above the Minimum Target Grade

  • Green = Same as the Minimum Target Grade

  • Yellow = 1 grade below the Minimum Target Grade

  • Red = 2 or more grades below the Minimum Target Grade

Change the Grade Type

  • The Grades Summary will open up to show the Average Unit Grades by default.

  • You can change this to the Current Grades, Teacher Predicted Grades, Flexi Grades or Minimum Target Grades by selecting Grade Type from the left menu.

Download the data

You can do further analysis or extract the information to use with other software by going through the following steps:

  1. Open the Tools menu.

  2. Click Download as XLS.

  3. Open the file from your downloads folder.

Any additional columns set to visible within the Student Attributes section, such as the UPN, will also be downloaded in your XLS file.

Filter students within the Grades Summary

You're able to filter students by attributes, whether they're on or off target in comparison to MTGs, grade range achieved across subjects, and Tags. To filter students:

  1. Open the Filters menu.

  2. Select which characteristic to filter by.

  3. Click Add Filter and return to your tracker to view the filtered students.

Note: Any filter applied will stay on the tracker for your user until you turn it off.

You can stack your filters if you wish to see trends from more specific areas. For more information on filtering the data in your trackers, take a look at the article below:
