Introduction
Trust Subject Leaders can compare the average performance of Trust Level Assessments (TLAs) across every school in their trust from a single view. This helps you identify strengths, highlight areas for improvement and monitor assessment completion across schools.
You will need Trust Subject Leader or Trust Admin permissions to access this feature.
This article explains how to compare school-average attainment, analyse Question Level Analysis (QLA) data and identify schools that have not yet submitted assessment results.
Compare average TLA performance across schools
This tool works in the same way as the Compare Class Averages view, but instead compares the average results for each school in your trust.
Steps
Add the required Trust Level Assessment(s) using the existing Trust Level Assessment functionality.
From the Trust Dashboard, select Tracking.
Use the filters to select the relevant subject and year group, then select Tracker Analysis.
Review the average performance for each school.
Expected outcome
You can quickly:
Compare average attainment across all schools in your trust.
Identify trust-wide strengths and areas for intervention.
See which schools have not yet submitted assessment data.
đĄ Note: Schools that have not entered results for the selected Trust Level Assessment will appear as blank in the comparison view.
Sort and analyse results
Just like the standard tracker, you can sort each column to make analysis quicker.
Sorting allows you to:
Find the highest and lowest performing schools.
Identify schools with missing assessment data.
Compare results across marks, grades or individual QLA questions.

đ Team Tip:
Use the QLA view after reviewing overall averages. A school may have a similar overall score to others but still reveal consistent weaknesses in specific topics or questions, helping you identify targeted trust-wide intervention opportunities.
